Luis corresponded with text for a quote and the job details. I thought the estimate was reasonable comparing to the headache that I would have to deal with otherwise and they got the job.
They showed up on time the next day at 8:30am. Got to work immediately and was done for the day, cleaned up and out the door by 10am. They left their fan to help the skim coat dry and finished the job with sanding and touch ups the next day.
Some other reviews mentioned the price being on the high side. I cannot comment on that as Luis was the only one responded to my messages. I will say that the speed, quality of work, cleanliness and the ease of communication made it all worth it to me.

I had originally hired a handyman to skim coat my bedroom wall. (He barely added a single layer and then left the wall - still with texture and lots of deep scrape marks.) My bf and I attempted a diy 2nd coat which didn't turn out very well so after more money wasted (lesson learned), I decided to hire a pro.
Luis's quote was a little on the higher side but upon speaking with him over the phone, I just had a good feeling about him and decided to go with his company. Luis was punctual, skimmed my wall perfectly, and was also very tidy.
And to top it off, he was friendly and always smiling - just a super nice, easy person to be around. My bf and I will hire Luis again for any future projects and highly recommend him and his company.

I called these guys after getting a quote from another drywall repair company
That other company wanted 50% down (without actually seeing the job) and actually had a lower quote than DRF. Despite DRF's higher quote, they said one thing that the other didn't - it'll look 99% like nothing happened.
And sure enough, DRF delivered on that, repairing a wall which had water damage (including replacing the insulation), and applied the texturing so the patch was indistinguishable from the rest of the wall. I appreciated the professionalism and effort from these guys.
Plus they were on-time, cared about cleanup, and wore masks and booties the entire time. The next leak that happens, these guys will get the call to fix the wall!

He and his worker, Ricardo, removed the acoustic from 3 bedroom ceilings and painted the entire bedrooms. Before starting the work, they removed the window blinds, wall shelves and furniture from the bedrooms.They did it carefully and made sure I had access to the items I may need.

Based my calling Luis from his stellar reviews and very pleased with the results.
Luis was very friendly and didn't mind my asking him questions to gain more education in drywalling. My first home isn't a fixer upper but needs several cosmetic improvements over time as I save after the first home down payment. So Luis shared his trade tricks with me as he worked.
But more importantly, he is a very talented drywaller, goes beyond just the handyman technique of drywalling and applying a higher standard in material and knowledge. He is reasonable in price too. This is his side business. He works as a company drywaller and it shows!

I needed repair on drywall in one of my bedrooms where there used to be a door. We called Luis for an estimate and he quoted us a very good price for his proposed work.
We agreed and he came in on our agreed date on time, worked his magic and in two hours our wall looked like a proper wall with out the door outline from previous owners work. If you're in the Lakewood or Cerritos area Luis is the guy to call for drywall repairs.

I needed to install a wall in my room with a pocket door and he did a great job. What I loved about him was that he was honest with me since the first communication. He was super busy and made sure to tell me up front. Rarely do contractors do this, they take on work that they can't complete on time or make a mess to finish sooner.
I decided to wait a couple of days as I wasn't in a rush and I am so glad I did. He followed up with me as soon as he became available and he was working on the project the next day. I am glad I waited. Pricing was also good and he was extremely professional. Thank you Luis.

I had called around to a few other places to try and get our drywall up for the new kitchen. Everyone said no, we are too busy, good luck and would hang up which was beyond frustrating!! Not Luis, he went out of his way to make sure I had two amazing people to finish our drywall project( George & Rafael) it didn't benefit him at all, and yet he was still super helpful and the guys he referred to me for the work were extremely professional, friendly, and did excellent work.
Their cost was very reasonable....I really couldn't be happier, and will be calling Luis again if we need any work done! Also George and Rafael if you see this you guys are the best! George went above and beyond helping out with tips, and ideas, and had excellent workmanship.
We are doing a lot of the remodel ourselves. Rafael was meticulous in his drywall, and so fast! I don't know if any of you have tried drywalling(I tried) and it's hard....so call a pro if you don't want it to look redicilious haha. Thanks again guys!!!!
